Welcome to the Mary Robson School of Ballet, established in1989. We hope you find the information below helpful and informative and it inspires you to find out more about the classes we run. We offer classes for girls and boys from school age upwards and for adults, no matter your age or experience.

As RAD Registered Teachers (RTS), we are required to follow a strict code of conduct and keep our knowledge and skills up to date through a programme of Continuing Professional Development.

We are trained to follow a carefully structured syllabus which is fun and safe, enabling students to progress in stages and be entered for exams when they are ready. We also include very valuable non syllabus work and training exercises in our classes.

 I am delighted to have Catriona Matthew teaching classes in Wormit and together we bring our own experience and passion for dance to our pupils. Our staff are RAD Registered and Teachers regularly attend Continuing Professional Development courses. 
Claire Owen teaches the Tuesday classes in the East Hall. Claire is a former pupil and also an RAD Registered Teacher who has the experience of running her own school and teaching for over 14 years. 

We are always excited to welcome new pupils to the School. Enquires are welcome and will be answered promptly.

We are very proud that former pupil Fergus Graham will soon be starting his final year on a 3 year degree course at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London. Fergus trained at the Dance School of Scotland for 2 years before auditioning for Rambert. Fergus joined our classes at the age of 8 and we are very proud of his achievements and wish him great success.
