Welcome to the Mary Robson School of Ballet.

Welcome to the Mary Robson School of Ballet. I hope you find it helpful and informative and it inspires you to find out more about the classes we run. We offer classes for everyone, no matter your age or experience.

We are delighted to be resuming in-person classes from 31st August and we are very excited to be seeing our pupils again.

Our Term starts on Monday 24th August with 1 week of online classes on Zoom.   The timetable for online and in-person classes is on the timetable page.

We have worked hard to devise a strict sanitising routine before and after every class and a one way system through the buildings to ensure everyone's safety when we return to normal classes.

We are now enrolling for 2020-21 and we look forward to welcoming new pupils. Enquiries are welcome and will be answered promptly.

We have classes in Classical Ballet from age 3½ to adults, whether you've danced before or not.

The Mummy and Me class, for toddlers to age 3 on Tuesdays at 1.30pm in the East Hall, Wormit, will not resume until its safe to do so, owing to the fact that parents and grandparents help the children in the class. We hope the young girls and boys enjoy our fun sessions when they resume, with lots of props to help develop coordination, control and musical and sensory awareness.

The Adult ballet classes will remain online until it is safe to come together for in-person classes.

See our 2020 - 2021 on the timetable page.

I am very proud to have a former pupil teaching at the school, Sylvie Clarke, and I am delighted to have Catriona Matthew on our staff teaching the younger pupils in Wormit. Together we  bring our own passion for dance to our pupils. All our staff are RAD Registered Teachers and regularly attend Continuing Professional Development coourses.

We are excited to be moving our Tayport classes to the brand new Larick Centre in Tayport. It's a wonderful, spacious and bright facility to inspire our pupils.

We are always excited to welcome new pupils to all our classes so please contact us by email or phone. Any enquiries about our school and classes are most welcome and will be dealt with promptly. See the Contact page for details.

Details of all our classes are on the class info page
